He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Davis Wrather and Daisy Lane Wrather; his wife Mary Hunt Wrather; and his siblings, Cleveland Wrather, Joe Wrather, Dudley Wrather, Paul Wrather and Betty Jane Wrather.
He is survived by: his siblings, Charlie Wrather (Virginia), William "Bill" Wrather (Wanda) and Minerva Vines; and his stepdaughters, Kathy Scott (Ron) and Gwen Cline.
