He is survived by: his children, Dawn Gilley (Hugh Snoddy), Heather Holden (Chris), Jessica Willingham (William), John Mitchum Gilley, Jr. (Cristina) and William Peyton Gilley; his grandchildren, Tyler, Brandon, Mia, Sofia, Kaylee, John "Trip" Mitchum III and Kinlee; his girlfriend Leah McClinton; and his siblings, William Markel Gilley, Thomas Edward Pitts, Patricia Lorene Hamby and Tammy Dean Wall. He is also survived by extended family, friends, coworkers.
