He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Mitchell and Bessie Mae Slatten Mitchell; and his daughter Sheila R. Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Ruby Fayrene Mitchell; his children, Wyatt Anthony Mitchell and Donna Ruth Anderson; his sister Peggy VanDiver; and his grandchildren, Codi Nichols and Nicholeus Anderson.
