She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Robert Lee Pledge and Tommye Jackson Pledge; her husband John William Adkins; and her sister Laverne Ledbetter. She is survived by: her son Jason Adkins (Cristina) of Rutherford, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Savannah Baker (David), David Adkins and Evan Adkins. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
