She was predeceased by: her parents, Ellis R. Floyd and Mollie Mae Bowen Floyd; her husbands, James Elmer Vaught and Howard Jackson Whitworth; and her sister Evelyn Sauls.

She is survived by: her children, Randy Vaught (Wilma) and Cathy Vaught Corder (Jim); her siblings, Willie Floyd (Maylene) and Betty McCullough (Jerry); her grandchildren, James Corder (Laura Kay), Clinton Corder (Laura) and Amanda R. Vaught; and her great grandchildren, Callen, Ryan and Nolan Corder.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Stones River Manor.
