She was predeceased by: her parents, Laymon Lee Barrett and Evelyn Smith Barrett; her husband William Henry McDaniel; and her siblings, James W. Barrett, Laymon Lee Barrett, Jr., Mary Frances Carlton and Arlene Barrett.

She is survived by: her children, Ronnie McDaniel, Steven Brett McDaniel, Kay Morton (James) and Shirley McDaniel; and her grandson John Andrew Morton.
