He is survived by: his wife Elaine Baines Dinkins; his daughter Jessica Dinkins Pinson (James); his siblings, Jon Dinkins, Angela Tipps (Dale), Eva McPherson (John W.) and Nancy Stewart (Rick); and his grandchildren, Joe Pinson, Miles Pinson, Marley Pinson and Eleanor Pinson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and brothers and sisters-in-law.
