She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herbert Pitts and Verna Marie Upchurch Pitts; her husband William Howard Hunter, Sr.; her brother David Mark Pitts; her daughter-in-law Brenda Faye Hunter; and her granddaughter Kerra Marie Davis.
She is survived by: her children, William Howard Hunter, Jr., Jimmy Hunter (Sherri) and Penny Hunter-Davis (Kerry); her siblings, James Kenneth Pitts, Robert Anthony Pitts, Linda Pitts Wrather and Brenda Pitts Braswell; and her grandchildren, Shannon Phillips, Trey Hunter, KJ Davis, David Hunter, Adam Hunter, Samantha Hunter and Erica Hunter. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
