He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Conway Hamby and Melda Ellen Barnes Hamby; and his brother Benny Hamby. He is survived by: his wife Martha Hamby; his children, Denise Parton (Brian) and Eric Hamby (Tammy); his grandson Lucas Hamby; his sister Faye Abston; and his brothers-in-law, Floyd Ferguson and Ben Ferguson. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
