He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Johnston and Grace Johnston; his siblings, Jack Johnston, Charles Johnston, Glenn Johnston, Lawrence "Eddie" Johnston, Jeane Warner and Joyce Johnston; his wife Barbara Hall Johnston; his children, Eddie Johnston and Connie Demumbreum; and his granddaughter Sharnon Johnston.
