She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Gillespie and Viola Henry Gillespie; her husband Joseph Franklin Cotner; her siblings, Ruby Harris, Roma Tate, Mildred Wallace, James Gillespie, Leonard Gillespie and Thomas Gillespie; her son James Leon Sudderth; her grandchildren, Marcus Miller and Lily Mae Patrick; her great grandchildren, Tionya Miller, Marcus Miller, Jr. (D. J.), Tyneishia Revels, Amber Sudderth and Charleston Sudderth; and her great great grandchild KavieonRevels.
She is survived by: her sisters-in-law, Rose Gillespie, Laura Bell Manuel and Minnie Helen Locke; and her close friend Karen Smith. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
