He was predeceased by: his parents, Staley McClanahan and Hazel McClanahan; and his siblings, Gordon, Emerson and Phyllis.

He is survived by: his son Patrick McClanahan; and his siblings, Marvin, Loy, Ronald, Shirley, Ruth, Elnora and Martha. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; loving dog.
