He was predeceased by: his wife Mable Dixon Hudson; his parents, David T. Hudson and Lula Beals Hudson; his brother J. G.; and his sister-in-law Willie Hudson.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Brenda (Johnny Powell), Ronald (Judy Hudson), Jerry (Ann Hammontree), Patricia (John Ingram), Jewel (Robert Hood) and Wanda Hammontree.
