Herbert Bishop Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Bishop of Rockford, Tennessee, who passed away on October 28, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jean; his daughters, Janet Kegel and Kim Kerr (Scott); his grandsons, Caleb Covington (Jenna) and Daniel Roysden (Holly); his great grandchild Joshua Roysden; and his sister Anita Clark (Tommy). He was also cherished by many nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews.
He was reunited with those gone before him, parents Green and Lola Mae Bishop, grandson Josh Covington, 2 sisters, a brother, several great friends and many loved ones Herb was an amazing man of God and was a faithful member of Madison Ave. Baptist Church (pre-Covid) where he served as a deacon emeritus and sang in the choir.
In lieu of flowers please donate in Herb's name to East TN Children's Hospital, St. Jude's Hospital or Pancreatic cancer research.
