He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Hamby (Michael) of Roan Mountain, TN, Sandra Pritchard (Randy) of Frank, NC, Michelle Perkins (Donnie) of Roan Mountain, TN and Kimberly Hicks of Roan Mountain, TN; his grandchildren, Channing Perkins (Jennifer, Dreama Hughes), Marche Hughes, Derek Perkins, Emily Pritchard, Brandon Hamby, Justin Pritchard, Victoria Perkins and Shevon Hamby; his great grandchildren, Samuel Hughes, MacKinley Perkins, Gavin Birchfield and Zaden Birchfield; and his brothers, Chuck Ashley of Roan Mountain, TN, Norman Ashley (Linda) of Roan Mountain, TN, Roger Ashley (Louise) of Roan Mountain, TN and J. S. Ashley. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
