We are sad to announce that on February 1, 2019, at the age of 91, Herman Jarrett (Roan Mountain, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his son Rickie Jarrett; and his siblings, V. L. Jarrett, Joe Jarrett, Reece Jarrett, Norman Jarrett, Paul Jarrett, Junior Jarrett, Edith McKinney, Ruth Jarrett, Betty Jarrett and Shirley Jarrett.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce "Josephine" Jarrett; his children, Brenda K. Barnett (Britt) of Roan Mountain, Easter Laws (Lynn) of Roan Mountain, Teresa Jarrett of Marion, NC, Treka Ellis (David) of Charlotte, NC, Darlene McClain (Jerry) of Old Fort, NC and Sherlene Hughes (Donny) of Icard, NC; and his siblings, Dorothy Roberts of Roan Mountain, Carrie Gardner of Roan Mountain and R. E. Jarrett (Hazel) of Roan Mountain. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.
