It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gail June Burleson (Roan Mountain, Tennessee), born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on April 18, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert W. Pritchard and Oline Anne McKinney Pritchard; her husband Senator Robert "Bob" Burleson; her son Todd Burleson; and her brother-in-law Bobby Jack Tipton.
She is survived by: her children, Victor Burleson (Nicole) of Charleston, SC, Julian Burleson of Roan Mountain and Scarlett Anderson (Rik) of Roan Mountain; her siblings, Carolyn "Cat" Tipton of Roan Mountain, Roderich Pritchard (Lisa) of Atlanta, GA and Terrance Pritchard of Elk Park, NC; her grandchildren, Emmi Neslage (Scott) of Charleston, SC, Megyn Jefferson (Sam) of Savannah, GA, Sophi Wells (Tony) of Charleston, SC, Hobie Burleson of Charleston, SC, Baylor Anderson of Johnson City, Alden Anderson of Johnson City, Cayden Anderson of Roan Mountain, Tiffany Pătroiu (Simon) of Sevierville and Anthony Robertson of Sevierville; and her daughter-in-law Donna Burleson of Elizabethton. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
