He was predeceased by: his parents, John Anderson and Esther Anderson (Nelson). He is survived by: his siblings, Tom Anderson (Stephanie) of Water Valley, John Anderson (Jane) of North Carolina and Teresa Anderson of North Carolina. He is also survived by five nephews and nieces.

In Lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
