It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maudie Mae Gaters of Ripley, Tennessee, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther William Gaters and Lillie Mae Jacques Gaters; and her siblings, Thomas Gaters, Luther Dean Gaters, Walter William Gaters, Peggy Jackson, Ann Jackson, Lydia Dale Gaters and Lula Gee Gaters.
She is survived by: her siblings, Raymond "Shorty" Gaters (Carol) of Ripley, TN and Bernice Smith of Ripley, TN; and her sister-in-law Sue Gaters of Brownsville, TN. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family has requested memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 1000, Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
