She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Ammons; and her parents, Larry Douglas and Inez Ingram Douglas. She is survived by: her children, Julie Burton (Brent) of Steinbach, Bill McWherter of Covington and Matt McWherter (Jenny) of Brighton; her brothers, Wayne Douglas (Gail) of Ripley and Gary Douglas (Belinda) of Ripley; and her grandchildren, Carson McWherter, Logan Rose, Brooke Burton, Addie McWherter, Molly McWherter and Leighton McWherter.
The family asks that any memorials be made to Helen Tucker Adult Developmental Center, 2669 Hwy 51N, Ripley, TN 38063.
