She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Childress and Eldridge Childress (Murray); her husband Jimmy McCaslin; her son Stephen McCaslin; and her siblings, Linda Spray and Lucian Childress.

She is survived by: her sons, Ricky McCaslin of Dyersburg, TN and Chris McCaslin of Ripley, TN; and her sister Brenda Fleming of Gates, TN.. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
