He was predeceased by: his parents, Atkins Thompson and Myrle Vandyke Thompson; and his brothers, Eddie Thompson and Jerry Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Myra Dell Hill Thompson; his son Eddie Thompson (Donna) of Puryear, TN; his siblings, Vanita Paschall of Puryear, TN and Joe Thompson of Hazel; and his grandchildren, Cayley Lawley (Taylor) and Emma Thompson.
