It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Juanita Jackson McWherter Brooks (Puryear, Tennessee), born in Paris, Tennessee, who passed away on July 23, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Andrew Jackson and Josie Wade Jackson; her children, Donna McWherter and David McWherter; her sisters, Ophelia Jackson, Odell Henderson and Oreta Long; and her stepbrothers, Mason Hudgins and Roy Hudgins.
She is survived by: her sons, Paul McWherter (Star) of Deer Park, TX and Eugene McWherter of Murray, KY; and her stepchildren, Diane Ryan (Steve) of Granite City, IL, Andrea Duvall (Mark) of Jefferson City, MO, D. J. Brooks (Monica) of Granite City, IL and Robert Brooks (Andrea) of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
