We are sad to announce that on March 20, 2025, at the age of 91, Martha Jane Whitson of Portland, Tennessee passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Porter Williams and Lou Ella Williams; her husband George Whitson; her son David Whitson; and her brother James Williams.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marcia Scruggs of Westmoreland and Teresa Forbis of Portland; her daughter-in-law Holly Whitson of Bowling Green, KY; and her siblings, Raymond Williams of Portland and Lee Pearson of Flora, MS.. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
