He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Irene Wilson Mackey; his children, Carole Mackey, Rhonda Rapone (Robert), Steve Mackey (Helen), Sandra Phillips (Scott) and Susan Collins (Terrell); his brothers, Tommy Mackey and James Mackey; and his parents, Belle Mackey (Briggs) and Charlie Taylor Mackey. He was also cherished by his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
