She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Hicks and Mollie Hicks; her husband Burley "Dock" Rhoton; her siblings, J. C. Hicks, Margaret Jane Taylor and Mary Lee Malone; and her son-in-law Randy G. Moody.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis R. Moody and Eddie Rhoton (Robin); and her grandchildren, Todd, Brandy, Jennifer, Le'Shay, Monica, Kristy and Amber. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; two step grandchildren; four step great grandchildren; two step great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
