It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy A. Poston Jacobs of Piney Flats, Tennessee, born in Saltville, Virginia, who passed away on August 6, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvel Poston and Annie Colley Poston; and her husband Billy Joe L. Jacobs. She is survived by: her children, Amy Whitaker (Greg) and Joe Jacobs (Melissa); her grandchildren, Timothy J. Whitaker, Jenna Jacobs and Dawson Jacobs; and her siblings, Clyde Poston and Maxine Dempsey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
