He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel Louallen Holland; his parents, Amos Holland and Maggie Simmons Holland; his children, Sharon, Gwen Holland and Charlie Ray Holland; and his siblings, Celia Bell Savage, Mary Ruth King and JB Holland.

He is survived by: his son Rufus Holland; his grandson Eric Holland; and his great grandchildren, Luke, Emma and Chase. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends.
