She was predeceased by: her parents, Mack Lawson and Nannie Bell Lawson; and her brother Douglas Lawson. She is survived by: her children, Sterlin Smith (Angel) and Michael Smith (Linda); and her siblings, Vada Knight (Bill), Hazel Yount (Tyler), Ronald Lawson, Norman Lawson, Lester Lawson, Frank Lawson and Elmer Lawson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
