It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ray Cate of Paris, Tennessee, who passed away on January 16, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father James Cate; and his grandparents, Raymond, Queenie Sanders, James and Faustine Cate.
He is survived by: his mother Peggy Sanders Cate; his children, Timothy Cate (Trinh Nguyen) of Denver, CO, Daniel Cate of Paris, TN, Courtney Butler (Nick) of Dickson, TN and Nicole Bray of Paris, TN; his brother Scottie Cate of New Madrid, MO; his grandchildren, Jaylee, Tyler, Landon, Ian, Myleigh, Carson and Jayden; his great grandchild Gabriel Butler; and his pets, Tarot and Tajah. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.
