He was predeceased by: his parents, Phy Collier and Viola "Ola" Akers Collier; his wife Geneva "Jennie" McSwain Collier; and his siblings, Juanita Stocdale, Dorothy Hixson, Rebecca Venell Meredith, Willie Odell Collier and Richard "Sonny" Collier.
He is survived by: his daughters, Betty Bernstein (Kenn) of Whitelake, MI and Bobbi Burke of Westland, MI; his stepson Kenneth Collier (Cindy) of Ingram, TX; and his sister Jean Fry of Camden, TN. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
