He was predeceased by: his parents, James Paul and Dolly Bailey Stockard; his daughter Kelly Phillips; and his brother Pat Stockard. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Shipley Stockard; his children, Joanie Neal of Chickamauga, GA and James "Jimmy" Stockard; his daughter-in-law Angie Stockard of Rock Springs, GA.; his siblings, Mary Lynn Perry of Springfield, TN and Mike (Euneice Martin); his grandchildren, Jana Neal, Jesslyn Douglas, Chase Phillips, Andrew Burns, Tommy, Carter Sheets, Caleb Alt, Blake, Lila Bettis, Gabriella Neal and Annabelle Welch; and his great grandchildren, Luke and Amelia Douglas. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
