She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Hayward Dortch and Virginia Veach Dortch; her husband Maurice Abbott; and her brothers, Teddy and Randy Dortch.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey "Jeff" Abbott (Jane) and Sheree Hutchinson (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Scotty Abbott (Karen), William Hutchinson (Kristen), Drake Abbott Anna (Danielle), Amy Phillips (Matt) and Phil Phillips (Christina); her great grandchildren, Parker Ballard, Bennett Ballard, Tinley Jane Ballard, Magdalena Abbott, Jeremiah Phillips, Mason Abbott, Jackson Abbott and Sarah Frances Hutchinson; and her brother Joel Dortch (Donna). She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
