She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Byrd and Naomi Blakley Byrd; her daughter Marissa Ellis; her siblings, David Byrd, Marva Owens (Jimmy) and Elfrieda Hager; and her brothers-in-law, Mike Phillips, Rocky Burgess and Bill Ray.
She is survived by: her son J. Brent Ellis (Dawn); her stepson Eric Blevins; her grandchildren, Megan and Makayla Chitwood; and her siblings, Glenn Byrd, Anne Byrd, Deane Phillips and Carol Burgess. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
