She was predeceased by: her father Larry Hancock; her sisters, Sheila Joe and Lila Jill Hancock; her grandparents, Obie J., Hazel Payne Hancock, Segal and Nova Terry; and her parents-in-law, Argie and Opal Payne Acres.
She is survived by: her husband Rob Acres; her son Quentin Acres; her mother Vera Hancock Slaven (R. O.); her siblings, Matilda Thompson and Mark Hancock; her nephew Caleb Thompson (Misty); her niece Erin Laxton (Michael); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Monroe, Lyla, Lincoln Thompson, Miles, Marron, Eldon and Elias Laxton. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
