He is survived by: his children, Karen Heath and John W. Autry; his grandchildren, Roger Watters, Jason, Ashley Heath, Erica Lay, Brooke and Dylan Dunphy; and his siblings, Phyllis, Alene, Henrietta, Dorothy, Harold and Allen. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
