He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Blevins and Opal Kidd Blevins Neely; his former wife Joy Lee Terry Blevins; his son Joseph Blevins; his stepfather John B. Neely; and his sisters, Ilah Blevins Lloyd and Phylis Blevins Shoopman.
He is survived by: his fiancée Winnie Ruth Justice; his son Rockie Helton (Barbara) of Oneida, TN; his siblings, Dwight Blevins (Cindy) of Grand Junction, CO and Doris Blevins Neely (Fred) of Dalton, GA; and his stepsiblings, Tony, Joe Neely and Bonnie Orick. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and many other relatives and friends.
