He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles H. Acres and Helen Seabolt Watters; his parents-in-law, Marley and Hattie Sexton; his half-siblings, Jody Watters and Millie Houston; his uncle Bobby Seabolt; and his grandparents, Jim, Annie Acres, Herman and Margarett Seabolt.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Lynn Acres; his sons, Ethan Acres of Texas, Harley and Dylan Acres of Mississippi; his stepsons, Shawn and Shane Boyatt; his grandchildren, Cyrus and Delilah Acres; his half-brothers, Alex Watters (Misty) of Alabama, Herman Justice (Alishia) of Alabama, Mel Acres (Brandi) and Kevin Acres (Lorie); his stepmother Jeanette Acres; and his siblings-in-law, George Sexton (Sheila), Ervin Sexton (Kathy) of Winfield, Steve Sexton (Missy), Tim Sexton (Lori) of Oneida and Wilma King (Arthur) of Oneida. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
