It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jackie Phillips of Ocoee, Tennessee, born in Cleveland, Tennessee, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Phillips and Sally Phillips; and his brothers, Lonnie and Donald Phillips. He is survived by: his sisters, Martha Faye Chapman and Virginia Blankenship; his children, Veronica (Tim), Taylor of Cleveland, TN, Vanessa (Scott), Farris of Cleveland, Vernon Phillips of Ocoee, TN and Robert Phillips of Ocoee; his grandchildren, Katie Milsaps, Kristina Phillips, Caleb Farris and Jackie Phillips; and his great grandchildren, Johnny Vaughn, Willie Vaughn, Ryker Milsaps and Elina Phillips.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Companion Funeral Home, Chapel. The military honors will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Chattanooga National Cemetery. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
Contributions can be made in Jackie's name to his favorite charity, American Legion Post 81, 40/8 program.
