He was predeceased by: his parents, Newell Dunlap and Etoy Dunlap; his wife Minnie Dunlap; his son Dennis Dunlap; his grandson Brandon Dunlap; and his siblings, Tommy Dunlap and Shirley Jones (Dewey).
He is survived by: his daughter Tina Dunlap; his grandchildren, Joseph Dunlap and Ashley Dunlap; and his siblings, Gene Dunlap (Kirstine), Donald Dunlap (Nina), Terry Dunlap, Mike Dunlap, Gloria Paseur (Gary) and Betty Dunlap. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces, step grandchildren, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials are sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
