She was predeceased by: her husband William M. Phillips, Jr.; her parents, Charles Wesley and Oda B Chism; and her siblings, Alvin, William Charles (Rooster), Stoy, Lawrence, Billy Gene, Annie Belle Donnell, Lillian Petty, Girtha Clements and Bonnie Joyce Chism.
She is survived by: her children, Michael, Craig Phillips of Oakland, TN and Cindy Phillips of Big Sandy, TN; her grandson Garrett Varos of Oakland, TN; and her sisters, Myrtle McReynolds and Jackie Ukman.
