It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert C. Davidson of Newport, Tennessee, who passed away on March 24, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Davidson and Viola "Rachel" Davidson; and his brother Melvin "Gene" Davidson of Nitro, WV.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ball Davidson of Newport, TN; his sons, Steve Davidson (Linda) of Newport, TN and Jim Davidson (Tammy) of Richmond, VA; his siblings, Paul Davidson (Ellen) of Owensboro, KY and Marilyn Davidson; his grandsons, Bradley Davidson (Sarah) of Englewood, CO, Brian Davidson (Brittany) of Cartersville, GA and Todd Davidson (Olivia) of Richmond, VA; and his great grandchildren, Kajsa Davidson, Christopher Davidson, Timyah Smith, Tristan Davidson, Yasmine Davidson, Aubrey Davidson, Laurel Davidson, Abigail Bely, Hailey Davidson, Olivia Davidson, Samuel Davidson, Benjamin Bely, Zane Davidson and Rachel Jo Davidson.
Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church building fund.
