He is survived by: his wife Eva Dean Gentry of Newport; his daughters, Melinda Fralix (Butch) of White Pine and Edwina Minar (Chris) of Brentwood, TN; his siblings, Herman Gentry of Parrottsville, Ronnie Gentry (Janice) of Newport, Wayne Gentry (Janine) of Davy, FL, Roger Gentry (Tammy) of Newport, Joyce Gentry of Newport and Annette Russell of Newport; his granddaughters, Kirsten Ginn (Jason) of Santa Clarita, CA, Hannah and Emma Minar of Brentwood, TN; and his pet Cini. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
