He was predeceased by: his parents, Edna K. Moore and Thomas E. Moore; his siblings, Bettye Moore-Jenkins, John Thomas Moore and Emily Moore-Waldrum; and his daughter Penny Jackson.

He is survived by: his wife Janice Moore; his daughter Hannah Moore; his grandchildren, Brittney Lindsey and Zachary Jackson; and his great grandchildren, Brielle, Layla Lindsey and Hattie Jackson.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home (2707 Gallatin Pike, Nashville, TN 37216). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
