She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxine Penick Osborne and John Milton Osborne; and her brother Steve Osborne (Hilda). She is survived by: her husband Kerry Bryan; her children, John Bryan, Jennifer and Stefanie Bryan; and her granddaughter Erin Bryan-Biggs.

She was on two occasions the Executive Director of the Brain Injury Association of Tennessee as well as having a leadership role in the Middle Tennessee Epilepsy Foundation.
