She was predeceased by: her husband Jack C. Phelps; her mother Charlene Pillow; her stepson Jackie Phelps; and her siblings, Helen Murphy, Charles Osborn and James David Pillow.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Terri Rulen (Rick); her siblings, Sandra Hardaway and Michael Pillow (Teresa); her grandchildren, Nick Bruey (Olivia) and Reanna Powers (Brian); her great grandchild Jack Bruey; her nieces and nephews, Jeff Hardaway, Steven Burnette, Jennifer Busch (Fred) and Jessica Edwards (Elijah); her friend Gale Perry; and her pet Sophie.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Hermitage Funeral Home (535 Shute Ln, Old Hickory, TN 37138). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donation be made to local Humane Associations if desired.
