She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Gibbs; her parents, William Wilby Rhea and Ellie Pauline Jarnigan; her siblings, Billy Jay Rhea and Alma "Sally" Hedrick; and also, Billy Jack Rhea and Buddy Rhea.
She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth Hollifield, Sarah Nolen, Josie Dickerson and Peggy Rhea. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
