She was predeceased by: her husband Eugene Smith; her parents, Arthur Scates and Evelyn Scates; and her sister Debbie Scates. She is survived by: her children, Eugene Smith (Amber), Ralf Smith (Ann) and Nickie Smith (Stacey Jones); her grandchildren, Reilly Smith, Ravyn Smith, Katherine Peruzzini (Robert) and Royal Fox; and her siblings, Ronnie Scates (Linda), Dennis Scates, Patsy Henderson (Eddie), Wanda Still and Diane Scates. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
