She was predeceased by: her husband Ivan Solomon; her stepgrandson Billy Joe Solomon; her parents, Bill Hawkins and Eula Hawkins; her sisters, Joyce Cobb (Tootie) and Mary; her brother-in-law Lee Carden; and her brother Bob Hawkins.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Shannon Price (James), Kyle Moore (Donna) and Ian Moore; her great grandchildren, Zoe and Abbagail; her stepchildren, Tim Solomon, Dale Solomon (Marie) and Kimberly Costner; her stepgrandchildren, Kelsey, Kameron and Tristian Solomon; and her close friends, Kenny Kimbrough, Penny Burem, Gladys Solomon, Nina and Lonnie Carden. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
