He was predeceased by: his parents, Buford Mayes, Sr. and Wanda Wolfe. He is survived by: his siblings, Carolyn Ferrell (Stanley), Brenda Manis and Carroll Mayes; and his half-sisters, Sharon Mayes and Penny Bean. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
